This page explains how BillGuard processes personal data. We apply data minimization and collect only what is needed to provide the service.
Account details, uploaded bill files, extracted bill fields, subscription state, and minimal technical logs.
Authentication, bill analysis, subscription management, reminders, and security monitoring. We do not sell bill data.
Stripe processes payments. BillGuard does not store full card numbers; only processor customer/subscription identifiers are stored.
Account data, structured bill fields, and subscription records are stored in access-controlled databases; uploaded bill files are kept in non-public object storage. We use HTTPS/TLS in transit, user-scoped database and file access, and short-lived signed links for authorized processing. Only authorized personnel and service providers needed to operate the service may access data within their responsibilities. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no Internet storage or transmission method is completely secure.
You can update profile data or request data export/deletion. Some transaction records may be retained to meet legal obligations.
